Frequently Asked Questions
COA’S
We issue COA’s with all our autographed items, Our COA’s feature the name of the person(s) who signed the item, the date it was sold and the price paid, The price can be left off or added in small on the back of the COA if the item is for a gift. if you would like it left off please let us know on the order page.
All of our contact details are on the COA (please be wary of COAs that don’t have contact detail on them, if the seller doesn’t want to give you these details you have to wonder why!)
Our COA’s also come with a two part numbered security sticker, one goes on the COA and the other goes on the back of the signed item.
The reason we had added this two part sticker is to protect you and us, In the past old COAs have been put with fake items and then sold on to unsuspecting collectors, this has only happen to us a couple of times but most of the autograph dealers that I know have encountered this problem. This will make it much harder for them to do.

WHAT DOES IN-PERSON MEAN & WHERE DO YOU GET EVERTHING?
Simply put it means we get the actual item signed, we attend premieres, awards, after parties, film festivals and conventions all around the world. This involves the very glamourous act of standing out in all weathers for hours on end!
I also do private signings, these involve the celebrity signing a fixed number of items directly for me, usually at their house. Nearly every item we sell is obtained either by myself or from someone that work directly for me, Occasionally I will get items from other dealers or collectors but these are only ones that I have collected with and personally trust, as every thing I sell I put my name too.
WHAT IS A STREET GRAFF / WHY DOES THIS LOOK DIFFERENT TO OTHERS?
Street graff is slang is used for when an autograph appears a bit rushed / sloppy / incomplete.
Signatures can vary a LOT, I have seen an actors signature change within seconds, this can be down to many different reasons; sometimes when someone starts to sign for a small number of people you will get a nice full signature but as the crowd grows the signer will shorten their signature.
I remember being at one of the Twilight movie premieres and saw that Robert Pattinson started giving nice full signtures when he got out of the car but by the time he got to the end of the crowd most people were getting an ‘R’, both the full signatures and the ‘R’ where signed at the same event, but totally different.
Also most street graffs are signed while the celebrity is walking about and not sitting at a table at a convention so the signature will be different, I have collected signatures through car windows, balancing on top of chairs, in lifts etc, sometimes the celebrity will sign while he or she is being dragged away by their security / PA all of these things will affect the signature.
Also a lot of celebrities signatures change over time, a lot of current celebrities start off giving full name signatures but over time they shorten to initals, and when you get a very young celebrity signing you will see a massive change, The first time I got Dakota Fanning at the war of the worlds premiere she signed with curly letters and drew a little flower and love hearts on it, but not now!
And sometimes you will get a celebrity that is not keen on the item they are signing o you might get a rushed or sloppy signature.
I have also been refused many times because the photo has a gun on it or too much blood, too sexy or even “I don’t sign that as I hate that film”
WHY IS IT SINGED IN THE DARK AREA / WHY DIDN’T YOU GET IT SIGNED IN A DIFFERENT COLOUR PEN?
At a big event like a premiere, the celebrity will try and sign as many possible so a lot of photos will be singed where the pen lands and this sometimes is in the darker area, and even if you ask them to sign it ‘top left or bottom right’ they wont even hear you, Some celebrities wont change pens full stop. This can be for many different reason, They don’t want to mess around with lot of different pens as this will slow them down, they don’t know where the pen has been!, they are told not to, or they just don’t want to.
Also you find a lot don’t like using blue pens.
HOW COME YOU HAVE LOTS OF SIGNATURES FROM CERTAIN PEOPLE
Some celebrities are really nice and will sign multiple items for you (Nic Cage, Tom Cruise) and if they are promoting a big film there will be a lot of chances to get them over a short space of time, At the Sundance film festival I may see the same person 5 or 6 times a day for 3 days. But also you do get the other side of this and you get one and that’s its, Sometimes a celebrity will have good look at you and then sign, and you might see them again a day or so later and they say ‘no’ as they ‘got you before’!
CAN YOU LOOK AT MY AUTOGRAPHS AND TELL ME IF THEY ARE REAL?
Sorry but I don’t do this, there are many different companies out there that will charge you to ‘check’ your items, all of these will charge you for this service but please remember with all of these companies you are paying them for their opinion, So many people I know have collected items in person at a premiere and then are told that its not real even though It was signed in front of them, All of the companies make mistakes, all of them.
CAN I SEND YOU SOMETHING TO GET SIGNED?
Im never guaranteed to get items signed just because im at an event, At the Star Wars the force awakens premiere I didnt get Harrison Ford because he got out of the other side of the car to me!, so all I can say is I will try, but please ask before you send any thing.
CAN I COME ROUND AND SEE EVERY THING YOU HAVE?
Unfortunately no, im not a shop and not set up for visitors, I do attend a lot of collectors shows where I take a lot of items with me and im always adding to the web site.
CAN I SEND YOU A ‘WANTS LIST’?
Yes, happy to look at lists but please remember that sometimes it can be months or years before a celebrity is about, and the older they are the less they go to events
